If he signs the max extension and he doesn't learn how to shoot jumpers then he'll be overpaid.

Ben Simmons is 6'10" moves like a guard, great passer, and elite defender. He was the only guy in the Toronto series that can decently defend Kawhi. He didnt exactly stop Kawhi but he was decent. Kawhi was just too strong for Butler and Harris. If he can learn how to shoot free throws and perhaps shoot 32% from 3 point land, he'll be a monster. Right now defenders are sagging off him making it hard for Embiid to operate in the paint.

We all saw the video if his mid range pick up games against other pros.

He even developed a turn around jump shot.

He's gonna be fine.

Sixers will go deep or all the way in the play offs.

Just hope our bench is good enough.

But that's where Brand gets to do his job.

Cant wait for the season to start

Yes, Ben Simmons needs work on his jumpshot and free throw shooting. But for the Sixers to really be true title contenders, Joel Embiid must be able to elevate his game as well. With his size and athleticism, he should be posting Shaq-like numbers (i.e. 30/15) and be more dominant in the post. I think there are times, in a game, when he falls in love with the 3-pointer and lingers outside the paint for long stretches. Also, he might also need to improve on his conditioning to avoid those ticky-tack injuries he seems to be prone to. Al Horford should be a positive influence on him.

Embiid needs to work on his conditioning. He's a bit overweight that's why he's injury prone just like DMC. I agree Embiid should shoot less 3 pointers. He averages 4 attempts per game at 30%. This is below league average. Embiid should improve his post game especially his back against the basket moves.

Forgot to point out as well that, for a big guy, Embiid is a good free throw shooter. By playing in the post more, he'd have more chances to get fouled and head to the line. But he's not doing that as much. Is he shying from the physical contact under the basket? Baka takot ma-injure.

jojo's game still evolving, he takes threes to get defenders that sag on him honest, he pumps from the top of the arch, defender jumps on him then he drives in for a dunk or a foul, league already took away his swim move where he swings his arms under the defenders arms to get a shooting foul. With Al Horford on the court Jojo will most likely get single defenders he can take.

Ben Simmons needs to shoot jumpers whether they go in or not just to spread the floor.

Excited for Thybulle though .. kid can defend

New trade suggestion has Sixers moving star Ben Simmons to Pelicans (yahoo.com)

The Philadelphia 76ers are looking for a solid and fair deal for 25-year-old three-time All-Star Ben Simmons. The Sixers originally hoped to remain patient on the Simmons trade talks, but now that the embattled star has requested a trade, the clock is ticking.

The season begins on Oct. 20 and the Sixers will be hard-pressed to get a deal done before they take on the New Orleans Pelicans. Their options are limited when it comes to potential All-Stars, and, at this point, they may have to take what they can get.

A new trade suggestion put out by TrueHoop has the Sixers moving Simmons to those Pelicans in exchange for Brandon Ingram and Kira Lewis:

Mahihirapan ang Sixers makakuha ng good trade for Ben Simmons. Baka walang team willing to trade their star players for him. He has a big contract, may have an attitude problem and hesitates durings crunch time.
