Anybody here into the sport of mountainbiking, or wanna start mountainbiking? Lets get together in this thread.....MTB in MTC.

I'm into biking but I ride a road bike. Maybe you can expand the thread to include road bikes.

I used to, until my bike buddy's (my brother) bike got stolen INSIDE THE HOUSE! <_<

...after that I wandered around by myself until I got tired of it. Bike parts are getting pricey these days don't they? :blink:

Yup, mas exciting...
...mas feel mo ang mountain biking pag downhill ang course...

...Tried it on a not so rough slight downhill...sarap!

Equipment for those kind of riding also don't come at a cheap price...
...not to mention safety gear. <_<

i would guess downhill is exciting pero di ba medyo advanced na ang skills ang required for that? are there downhill courses nearby?

i have a mountain bike kaya lang cheap and ang panget. baka mag breakdown lang dyahe.

btw how much ba is a good enough bike?

depends really. you can get one for about 25 but at this price you'll have to settle for a low end frame.

sa montalban rizal...

actually un mga fwend ko nag-organize n cla ng dowhill competetion last year and it was featured in game plan...

I'd like to get into this sport. Kaya lang I don't know where to start. What are the good brands (parts)? What are the technologies? Etc. Baka you can help me. A lot of mountain bikers ride here in Alabang every Saturday or Sunday. Maybe we can form a group here.

yup unless you go for last year's frames...you'll probably get them cheaper.

Let's go i ride almost every weekend either in Sta. Rosa or Antipolo. I have even gone as far as Guimaras Island in Iloilo...
