And while its obvious that GRINGO is not a traditional mexican resto ..... for me its sufficient enough if I am craving for some tacos. (forgot to check if they serve burritos)

Bro, mukhang masarap yan TACOS na yan. I know the second picture looks like Braised Pulled Pork, but the first picture intrigued me. It looks like Diced Sashimi Tuna? Their Tacos also looks more like Wraps.

yes they are tuna ........ I guess most restos here would use flour tortilla instead of corn tortilla.

Chili's

Silantro

Mexican pala ang Chili's? :)

Silantro - first time we ate, ang saya ng cheese toppings sa Nachos but the second time parang cost-cutting na sila. Sigh. This is in ATC.

Gringo - pwede na cause it is accessible to me. I love their Nachos

Yeah mahilig ako sa Nachos hehe

Mexican entrees at CHILI's & TGIFriday's are actually very good. Big servings, quality ingredients, great and authentic CalMex or TexMex taste. Downside is medyo mahal.

You are actually right, both CHILIs and TGIFRIDAYs are American Casual Dining. Better than Denny's, IHOP or any Diner type category restaurant. It's just that, these restaurants do have Mexican entrees, appetizers, & cocktails too in their menu. In order to appeal to their market, they also included some Filipino favorites like SALPICAO & SISIG, in their local offering.

Do you think a CHIPOTLE or a PANERA outlet in Metro Manila will succeed? Supposedly, these two restaurants are enjoying some great patronage. The US dining market is still raving in the Mexican Cuisine bandwagon.
