It's about time. Ayala Mall malapit ng matapos.

Bad trip sa SM North pag weekends, ang hirap mag-parking.

The question is, may free parking kaya dito gaya ng SM North dati?

TRY-no-ma :)

Actually, the mall is owned by many partners (not just Ayala). National Bookstores is also one of the partners in the group.

Ayala Land launches new mall in QC
By Zinnia Dela Peña
The Philippine Star 04/26/2007

Property giant Ayala Land Inc. (ALI) may put up a hotel or office buildings at its P3.5-billion Trinoma shopping center in Quezon City.

ALI president Jimmy Ayala said the additional space for open parking at Trinoma may be converted into additional retail space, hotel or office buildings.

Trinoma, which will open in June , will provide 195,000 square meters of gross leasable area. It has already signed up 600 tenants, mostly those in the fashion industry.

"More merchants are coming in. The mall is 90 percent occupied," Ayala said.

Quezon City Mayor Feliciano Belmonte Jr. said during the launching of Trinoma yesterday that the shopping mall should jumpstart the development of more business and commercial establishments in Quezon City.

"Quezon City will be a new watering hole," Belmonte said.

With a base market of 2.4 million residents and a land area of over 16,000 hectares (five times bigger than Makati City), Quezon City is the only urban community in Metropolitan Manila that has the best potential for continuing growth and development.

There are close to 60,000 business establishments in Quezon City.

Belmonte’s vision is to transform Quezon City into a modern urban community.

Trinoma is a four-level super regional shopping center being built at the North Triangle Depot of the Metro Rail Transit- 3 along Edsa. It will operate the flagship Landmark department store and supermarket.

Ayala said Trinoma will have 3,500 parking slots, seven cinemas , and several restaurants

the only thing that would downgrade this mall is the people themselves. you're right, the location is much too near the squatter's area and the residences around it does not belong to the high-end group. it's a pretty much SM crowd all together.

but still, i've been waiting for years for anyone who would get to curve the SM mentality and if TriNoMa offers the chance for people to at least elevate themselves in terms of class and taste, then im all for this mall. sobrang nababakyaan na ko sa SM. lahat na lang ng locales na me SM malls, dun me traffic, garbage and sanitation problem, water shortage. Add mo na yung pag sulputan ng mga mandurukot, snatcher, at holdaper.

Me thinks that the reason why there are no flyovers built in the EDSA-North Ave-West Ave junction is that SM had to pay off the gov't to preserve its location as it is. To think that it is the only main intersection along EDSA that is not included in the flyovers project. Me thinks also that SM actually funded the EDSA Ortigas flyover to k*ll business for Robinson's Galleria kasi naunahan sila sa location. If SM had been first to purchase that corner, tingin nyo magkakaron ng flyover?

For sure, this will cause more traffic in the area, ma-traffic na nga going to north avenue coming from q.c. circle mas lalo pang maging malala ang traffic dito sa place na 'to especially during the holiday season...

I doubt if there would be free parking... Ayala properties pa! :grr: they also earn a lot with those paid parking.
clear case example is the parking area near the Net1 and Net2 area... before free parking and likod ng Addidas Sports camp not you have to pay 50 petot for a 8-9 hrs parking :thumbsdownsmiley:

I'm sure parking at the SM mall would still be cheaper than that of the Trimona.
