i have tried chingmix before and after a while there is no progress until i fed it with viking and ayun lumabas ung ulo.

Hello peeps, i'm (actually were) new in this thread but my wife and I has been into Aquarium Fish for a long time now. Used to have a Flower Horn but it died without any sign why after so many years. Now we just got ourselves a couple of butterfly kois. We were told they were bred for the tank, does anyone know if its true? Anyone have tips for us on how to take care of them? do they need special treatment or something, feeding etc.

Is that a Butterfly Koi? You got any tips on how to take care of them? We have a 75 Gallons tank. Is it normal for them to stack up in one corner of the tank and not swim around?

Hello there,

Koi have many different breeds or species. Mostly they are kept in ponds seldom in tanks, they can grow as big as your 75 gallons, but if you kept them in 75 gallons babansot lang.

Koi like to swin around parang excersie nila. Mas maganda tignan yung koi sa pond because of their color features. THere is a shop in cartimar who is selling japanese koi and other one in magallanes. Best quality, preview lang around 5 inch of japanese koi cost around 2 to 3 k na. Mahal but maganda pag lumaki na

Enjoy.......

the best is to let them breed by their own sa isang koi na almost 15 kilos which produces 10k eggs only 1 to 2 percent will come out class A kois , other died, other with defects.

Buying kois lalo na sa mga well known shops in singapore, malaysia, japan or hongkong the suplier always use a plastic blue basin doon makikitam o yung ganda ng body (must be torpedo shape) and the right color or pigmentation of it. hindi dapat sa net hinuhuli iyan.

Sa goldfish you can breed in 75 gallons of tanks, pag may batik batik na puti sa buntot ng goldfish it means may itlog na iyan then they only release their eggs sa madamong lugar makikita mo sa itaas ng mga dahon transparent butil butil at kumpol kumpol.

Pinaka mahirap sa lahat is breeding neon treta fish.

Guys enjoy............

tanong mga bros....

(1) saan okay bumili ng tanks for single arowona?

tanks for arowana? well better go to cartimar and ask/find one

there are shops there in cubao or marikina but mahal sila magsingil.\to set up arowan tanks is very simple lang. over head filter lang ,good, clean, healthy water or ph level, dont feed floaters.

If silver yung aalagan mo better buy 75 gallons from the beginning.

I have read a thread here the largest arowan sa may meralco daw naka display, di ko pa nakikita,

but since teenager I have travel to taiwan, in the one of the major city (Kaoshiung) near the golden Pavillion there is a display of fresh water aquarium. They price possesion a 15feet of arowana like preserve already and some live ones dont know kung meron ngayon.

Sa Malaysia naman kinakain yung arowana matinik lang, it was been featured in Che Che Lazaro profile(correct me if i am wrong)

It depends on how you will take care of your arowan, kung papalakihin mo or pababansot mo its up to you. Mostly in malaysia they kept it in fish ponds.

Try to browse a website ng arowan , they have guidelines for beginners and breeders as well.\

Happy breeding

1. ph level must be observe

2. you must put smooth marble stones or alternative is jolen

3. paint all the side of your aquarium in dark shades color di pwd masilawan ng araw.

4. neon tetras do take care of their young ones.

for buck tooth tetra better go to bio-research kung nagpaparating pa sila. Or you can go browsing sa internet in malaysia or singapore tropical fish breeders, they do sell it to philippines but you have to xecure some papers from BOF of permits and their scientific names before importing them .

Hello, thanks for the tips. The guys at Bio Research told us that Butterfly Koi's are bred for the Tank, Thats the reason why they got fins like the tetra species. They really don't get big like the Koi's for the ponds.
