The simpler and most appropriate decision should be to disqualify the votes.

 

There were posters in the polling places showing how to shade their ballots. The voters are literate enough to understand the rules. If they don't follow the rules, their votes get junked.

 

Yung mga tatanga-tanga naman na pasaway sa pagboto, konti lang sila. Pero kung maraming ganyan ang ginawa sa iisang precinct, malamang me dayaan. What else can you expect?

I am pretty sure that when a voter votes, all he has to do is shade the circle of his chosen candidate. Only a dumb voter who has a comprehension problem won't follow instructions since he would want his vote to be counted. There, I explained it. As usual, another ad hominem post from a troll who can't post with sense. Hindi ka talaga bagay dito. Wala kang desente na sagot at puro ad hominem. As I was saying, yung mga tanga, konti lang. Yung mga pasaway, walang logical reason to waste their vote by undershading, so malamang konti lang din ang mga pasaway ng mag-undershade ng boto sa balota.

 

If there were significant number of undershaded votes for Robredo, and considering that extremely few would undershade due to ignorance or immaturity, then the conclusion would be those votes were prepared somewhere else and were done haphazardly. You'd suspect cheating.

Just to add - For fairness and equality, the undershaded votes for BBM in areas where leni got zero votes should also be deducted. That should also negate the debate of whether undershading was done through cheating or not.
