Meron ba ditomay gusto ng Ovation... planning to buy one any feedback?

Don't get Ovation if you are meticulous about video quality.

It is better to get a separate monitor for TV & video viewing, & a separate one for computer use.

My friend got one, & he regretted it.

Meron akong HP 22 inch kaso may problema may isang linya ako na patayo hindi mawala wala, sira na ba ito or can be repaired? Saan? at magkano kaya?

Bro we call this TAB Faults... TAB stands for Tape automated bonding.. i think can't be repaired..sorry :(

info from wikipedia:

TAB Faults

A TAB Fault [3] is caused by a connection failure from the TAB that connects the transparent electrode layers to the video driver board of an LCD.

TAB stands for Tape Automated Bonding, which is one of several methods employed in the LCD display manufacturing process to electrically connect hundreds of signal paths going to the rows and columns of electrodes in layer 6 (the transparent electrode layer) in the LCD display to the video ICs on the driver board that drive these electrodes.

If an LCD display is subjected to extreme heat or cold or physical shock, this could cause one or more TAB connections to fail inside the display. This failure requires replacement of the LCD display module itself. If these connections were to fail, the effect would be that an entire row or column of pixels would fail to activate. In the examples below, a horizontal or vertical black line would appear on the display, while the rest of the display would appear normal. The horizontal failure runs from edge to edge; the vertical failure runs from top to bottom.

LG Flatron w1942T yung ginagamit ko. Bought it at Gilmore for P9,450. Mag two years na sya this June. Never gave me any trouble. No dead pixels still. Works perfectly everytime. Satisfied talaga ako sa ganda ng resolution nya at sa color quality. Nowadays you can buy an LG lcd of the same dimensions for around P7,500 na lang
