2. Turk's Shawarma
3. Hassan Kabab (Visayas Ave.)

--
PS: I lived in the Middle East for more than a decade so I know what is authentic and not.

What would you say at what makes them authentic po?
Any particular flavor we need to look for?

Not impressed with Turks but kapag gutom ok na. Only because they are everywhere.

Those two I mentioned were like 90% on the authenticity.

Now, Everything is different from Turk's and other Filipino style shawarma.

Regarding the taste, it is better to taste it for yourself, but I will provide the ingredients used on making it so you have an idea.

Ingredients:

Arabian Bread (Kubbus).

Chicken / Beef / Lamb marinated from Arabian Spices

Garlic Sauce / Garlic Mayo

strands of pickled cucumber (crunchy)

Few pieces of French Fries (or Chips as what arabs calls it)

Lastly, they use generous servings of meat.

I am not saying that Turk's and the others aren't good, in fact they are good (in their own taste). But nothing beats the authentic taste for me (Since it was my favorite snack during my education years in the middle east).

Def will go visit Meshwe. But saan po yung Boy Shawarma and which Boni po?
The one near the Mandaluyong cityhall or yung sa Crame?

As a fan of Southeast Asian and Indian flavors, I'm curious about the shawarma places you've described. Used to eat Greek pita while in college only bec its the cheapest food for a broke student.

But I do find Turks very sweet.
Prefer not to eat it but they're better than the litid meats of the others.
