currently keeping it simple, stable and reliable.

yes, windows security is good enough for me. back then during windows 7 need to install separate anit malware and antivrus. but it drag down the performance of the pc. and it need to be paid to be able to get the best of it. so the free version still has alot of limitations.

AFAIK Microsoft Windows Defender is a way to go. All those other Antivirus Softwares actually create their own viruses or signatures which you also download through their updates, then when you scan for Antivirus, it shows it has removed the signatures. Making you think that its removing such virus, which eventually came from them too.
