im a nokia guy with the past 2 phones that i have...

i got the 6150 first then sold it in exchange for the 6210...

both were value for money kaso when i lost my phone, i said ibang company naman to be different. so i chose the sl45i of siemens. has a memory card, mp3 player and one of the 1st java enabled phones. the drawback was according to my friends it wasn't user friendly. i guess they were right pero it just needed some getting used to. now using it is a breeze for me. I'm an ericsson fan, my first was the GF768 flip phone, Then I upgraded to T28SC also a flipphone. But PDA and Phone integration arrive and I spend a whole lot switching to Handspring Viosr Prism + Handyphone module. worth all the money I spend I must say.

Now I'm seriously considering switching to the new Sony-Ericsson P800, it's Symbian OS though is giving me second thought. Konti lang kasi application sa Symbian when compare to Palm OS

siemens me45.

Dust proof and moisture proof and GPRS enabled. Most of all, it comes with its own speaker phone!

During conferences and meetings, I just lay down the phone on the table and everyone can clearly hear what the guy on the other end has to say in terms of reports or comments. Beats passing the phone around!

Long battery life (3-4 days of normal use). Infra red equipped.

My friend in the Telecoms industry said that user-friendliness was dependent on the first phone a user ever used or, at the very least, the phone a user first got comfortable with.

Nokia users will find Ericssons or Siemens or Motorola hard to use as ,indeed, some controls are different.

Motorola users have the same problems when using Nokia or ither brands for the first time and so do users of Siemens ans Ericssons. But in the end, as you pointed, it only takes getting used to it.

THanks! :D

Magkakasundo talga tayo kuya ;) pareho pa tayo ng cellphone. Siemens fan ako saka elibs kasi ako sa technology ng Germans. Ibang klase yung ME45, kung di lang nauso yung colored screens (actually its not that important to have a colored screen unless you have mms or a built-in camera) hanggang ngayon advanced pa din sana yung features ng ME45.
