we did the camping itinerary...mas mura saka mas masaya ehehehe...

we paid 2.5K for 2 boats back and forth na po yun...

tapos 120 landing fee pax/40 each para sa tranvia tour the following morning...pero the best yung lakad lang...takes 2 hours back and forth from south beach to topside...

ung tent rent ng 500 good for 5 tapos may unan na saka kumot...madilim sa gabi dahil wala electricity...at the best ang sunrise...romantic!

we took the day tour and overnight package lang. we just like to relax. but would like to try to hike when we go back.

ok nga sa south beach pag morning. sarap maglakad sa shore.

Madami daw ghost dito?

sabi, but we didnt see any. many soldiers died here kasi.

didnt experience any ghost although ung afternoon trek namin medyo spooky sa part ng middleside barracks...was videotaping the place...ang nakakatakot sure ako na nagrerecord pero nung playback puro blank sya (umaandar ang counter ng oras)...ayos ung night tour sa ospital at sa malinta tunnel...scary and fun at the same time though wala naman kami naramdaman o nakita...

taking suncruises...450 one way and 850-900 roundtrip na walang tour...plus 120 on the landing fee (parang entrance)...i suggest you bring picnic equips (mats/folding chairs or even a tent)...bring water and food kasi mahal dun hehehe...

ang pangit lang sa roundtrip via suncruises eh may time sya...alis sa morning is around 8 tapos last trip out of the rock is 4...kulang yun para sa akin bitin...kaya mas maganda overnight...

thanks for the info :thumbsupsmiley:

the beach any good for swimming/snorkeling ?

any links for the hotel which is not in tour package?

I'll be bringing kids so per pax would be expensive. <_<

may lodge type inn sa corregidor (sa office ng corregidor po kayo ask ng info kasi di ko pa sya natry)...much more economical that staying at corregidors hotel (which is called corregidor in)

i suggest po kung mas adventurous kayo eh mag tent kayo...may maaarkilahan naman dun...the waters are clear and clean...considering na manila bay sya eh malinis talaga...beach is comparable to subic/olongapo...

bitin talaga sir pag pumunta ka ng ROCK na roundtrip. It has to be overnight. Nasa gabi kasi ang thrill eh.

i think so sir. malinaw naman ang tubig. we took a swim sa pool lang ng hotel dahil padilim na. natakot na kaming bumaba sa beach. :)

ung corregidor inn is ok naman. fully air conditioned ang rooms pero walang tv. meron din silang hostel o dorm type accommodation para sa malalaking groups. mahal nga lang ang food and drinks nila. pati ung sa clubhouse where we ate breakfast the next day. suggest magbaon na lang kayo. may mabibilan naman na coop store dun na mejo mahal din but mas mura kesa sa hotel. kelangan nga lang tyempuhan ung nagtitinda kasi laging wala. may oras nga ang byahe ng ferry because of the tide. ngayon yata once a day na lang ang byahe. 8am to the rock and 2pm back to manila.

best time to go is Amihan season, marvelous weather even at high noon. In the summer til the start of the monsoon season, it can be excruciatingly hot, so be careful with heatstroke. During the rainy season, the forest takes on a eerily fascinating character when mist cloaks the forest floor. One good project is an expedition to track and photograph wildlife, especially deer. Sightings have been rare for visitors (I've had 2, one deer is as big as a small horse. it crossed the path of the bus on the way to Battery Cheney). Also had 3 ghostly encounters, not actual sightings but observable manifestations and one was potentially life-threatening.
