Online Banking

Recommended Posts

Been doing online banking with both

Metrobank and BPI.

I have stopped my metrobank account due to their poor service at the branch level (too many people and yet the tellers are slow).

Comments:

Metrobank online banking is not so up to date. Meaning, transactions usually appear or are posted the next day. (This was around 2 years ago. Am not sure if they have upgraded their service).

BPI Online banking is good. Transactions are posted online and on the same day. Even the details can be seen immediately (see transactions for the day). BPI express online sites sometimes gets sluggish and slow. But in my experience they are reliable (almost up the whole time).

with bdo online banking, i think they charge everytime you access your account, even if you only check your balance. dont know with other banks if they charge a fee for such

I dunno with BDO but with allied and unionbank acessing your acct is free unless you transfer funds...

If BDO charges you evrytime you acces your acct then, they had alreadky knocked off BPI from the top spot of the Ganid List.

im a frequent traveller so i rely too much on online banking mostly in paying my bills and fund transfer to my scholars. im using citibank, bpi, metrobank, bdo and hsbc. HSBC is the most secured i think as it got time dependent security code, followed by citibank which ask you for a personal security information. the worst for me is bdo which i dont use for long time (i always forget my alphanumeric username which is chosen by them) I dont know if they have changed it now. BPI ask a user (in my case) to change the password from time to time which is not favorable for me. (poor memory hehehe).

Question lang po : Papano po mag bayad ng order sa internet? I intend to buy a text book using this. If Paypal or any credit card from the Philippines is not honored by the site how do I use something like Myayala.com to trade and pay for purchases? I do not really do business over the internet kaya I am not at all familiar how to trade. Hope someone would inform me and enlighten me on this matter. Thanks everyone and all
