Ciano's restaurant located at Congressional Avenue beside boxpark QC
FEATURED FOODS are the ff:
- Pinakbet
- Sinugba't kilawin sa tanigue
- Tibok tibok: coconut pudding with sweetcorn and ube ice cream topped in mocha tuile
- Chicharong Bulaklak
- Beef Caldereta
- Kare kare

--> the food has amazing flavors. They're like fireworks exploding in your mouth with a variety of spices infused in their extraordinary dishes. They make look simple and common but as a chef, I guarantee that you will surely enjoy their spectacular dishes. Pasok pa sa budget. Better than Abe's, XO46heritagebistro, and other filipino restaurants!!!! A place to return to...

Short FR on Taco Vengo! Megamall

Taco%20Vengo%20Megamall%204_zpse5hdqvda.

From the presentation alone, you would think it was unimpressive. I would have to agree with you. When I saw it, I was immediately put off by the fact that it was served on a stainless steel plate. Understood, less contamination. However, it made us feel that the food was served on a doggy plate instead of something made for people. Aside from that, the open taco shell was quite difficult to fold. It was small (5 inches in diameter) which made for a lesser area to hold the filling together. When I ate my food, the sauce dripped from the taco to my fingers in no time. I was a mess! Good thing they had an area where you can at least wash and sanitize your hands.

I actually like Taco Vengo. It's just a little overpriced, in my opinion. But other than that I think the place is pretty good!

FR for my 1/11/17 visit. Opening day nila :)

Baker and Cook @ S Maison (Condrad Hotel)

Tried the following:

ribs 8/10

cherry pie 8.5/10

lamington cake 7/10

Masarap naman yung mga inorder ko, pero mataas lang ata inexpect ko..

Sa cherry pie, masarap at na enjoy ko yun crust lalo na syempre yung filling.

Lamington cake, meko na dry-an ako.

Overall, I'll give it another chance if and when mapadaan ako sa mall na to'.

Tried new Love Craft Food Park (along E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue, near New York Street). They're still adding up some stalls so we tried two of the operating ones.

These we've tried were all good. Two pitchers of Red Iced Tea. Liked it.

Like their homey ambiance with all those sofa seats. How's the food and price? is the area crowded at night?

It's a new place in the hood so there's not much crowd yet. It's cozy because of the sofas, away from the usual wooden or monoblock chairs and tables. The food was priced right. Take that Cajun Shrimp and Crab by Crab Shack (one of the stalls), which was priced at 399 pesos. It has 4 pcs of well sized shrimps, half serving of crab (alimango), a cut of corn cob, and some baby potatoes.

Although no desserts are available yet for the stalls there. I saw some still being fixed up, so there are some more to check out.

Not really my cup of tea. But I would guess the ones serve in Gloria Maris, Choi Garden and Golden Bay makes it to top 5 easily.
